The JVC model KD-HDR1 is a great choice if you want to listen to music store on a disc, hook up your iPod or listen to the radio. If you like listening to CDs, the KD-HDR1 handles both MP3 and WMA music files you’ve burned to a disc. Every sport has its own set of dangers and list of potential injuries. No sport is completely safe –that is obvious by the number of competitors who routinely get injured and either withdraw their name from competition, or sit on the bench and rehab until they are healed.

Some sports, such as tennis, might put a player at risk of injuring a knee or a leg, as the game requires an intense amount of running and maneuvering. Other sports, such as rugby, put players at risk of breaking bones or of something more serious and damaging, such as sustaining an injury to the head. However, even these physically violent sports do not put peoples’ lives at risk.

Car racing is one of those sports that has a more serious and more dangerous side to it than many others.

As a result of how dangerous the sport is, anybody who plans to race anytime soon must be sure to do so in the safest manner possible. There are a number of items that can be purchased so as to better protect yourself when it comes to car racing, and the right racing suit is one of them.

Along those same “just in case” lines, kart racers must be sure to protect themselves from common injuries while on the track as well. While being stuck in a fire is a major concern for an auto racer, it is of much less concern for a kart racer (you can jump off and away from your kart with ease, as opposed to unbuckling everything holding you in place in a car). However, hitting the concrete or asphalt ground of a track directly (something a driver in a car almost never has to worry about) is something that is very common within kart racing. As a result, kart race suits are designed to be able to absorb the shock that comes from these types of dangerous accidents. There while, while a kart race suit is not able to repel fire as well as an auto racers suit, it is better suited to deal with high-speed accidents that leave racers spilling out onto the cement racetrack below.

In the end, it does not matter whether you are a professional auto racer or an amateur kart race - in the end, all that matters is that you take the necessary precautions before ever getting into a vehicle. The right suit, built for you and your needs and protection, is a great start.

The Racing Harness: Safety on the Track

The race car industry is one that implies constant risks for drivers as they careen down the track at unfathomable speeds for most drivers, taking on significant personal risks in order to achieve a much-coveted trophy, title, etc. Due to the high stakes game of race car driving, safety issues have taken a central role in this sport activity, giving rise to all sorts of technologies, many later implemented in other contexts.

Car racing has become very popular over the last couple of decades. Today, the sport has people of all walks of life engaged to the point where the sport itself is reaching new heights, above and beyond what many would have predicted 50 years ago.

Many different people enjoy car racing for many different reasons. Others feel the need for speed and want the wheel in their hands and the peddles at their feet. But no matter why you are interested in car racing, or what first grabbed you and pulled you toward the racetrack, it is hard to ignore how many new fans and participants this sport has these days.

When it comes to being a driver (rather than simply a fan or member of a team’s crew) there a few items and accessories that you simply must have. While a car and a suit are undoubtedly important pieces to the overall car racing puzzle, one item that many people seem to overlook or forget when listing what a driver needs come competition time is his or her helmet.

No matter how experienced a driver you are, it is hard to ignore or completely forget some of the very real dangers that are associated with the sport. Almost every racer knows somebody who has been seriously injured or even worse, killed, while on the track. There are a few different types of helmets out on the market today, each of which serve a specialized purposed.

The most common type of helmet used in races these days is known as a full face model. The full face model helmet comes fully equipped with a face guard attached to the front of the helmet. As a result, drivers have their entire head encapsulated inside the helmet, offering complete protection against anything that might cause harm to ones face or head. These helmets can get very hot, which is why most are designed with some sort of vent (often positioned down by the neck) that allows air to escape. The other versions of helmets that are popular amongst racers today are open face models. The Functional Purpose of Wind Deflectors

Some people may think that wind deflectors are not really a necessity, or anything too important to have, but if you ask those who use them they will tell you they will never go back to their pre-wind deflector days.
